Jan 09, 2008 If you are going to reweld the trunnion markings (I think there is a legality issue with doing this), the correct way for the AKM would be an arrow in triangle for Izhevsk arsenal, and a star for a Tula arsenal, followed by the year, then serial number. Deivamagal serial climax. Firearm Discussion and Resources from AR-15, AK-47, Handguns and more! I now found 8 places with serial numbers stamped. Download vidio tari merak. Semoga dapat bermanfaat untuk menambah wawasan kamu. All the numbers match on my WASR. But those are built from surplus parts so the chance of mismatched numbers is higher. WASR gets a bad wrap but mine kicks ass. ![]() Its my favorite gun to shoot. Just watch out if you are within 20 feet of my ejection port. Edit: My WASR is a GP10/63 made in 1968. I read that the GP rifles are typically demilled service rifles rather than peiced together from surplus parts. I assume this to be true based on the fact that all my numbers match and others do not. Also my top cover has no serial number. Originally Posted By SGL_Shooter: My AES-10B is not numbered on the recoil spring. Don't have a WASR (yet) so I can't really help. What does your trunnion look like? Does it have the Cugir arrow in the triangle or is it scrubbed with a new serial number dot-matrixed onto it? For what it's worth my AES-10B is scrubbed. On the Trunnion mine has the Cugir arrow in the triangle with stamped serial number and just below that on the receiver it has dot matrixed serial number ( same number on both.) Hmm that's cool. Wish I had more Romy AKs so I could compare. My Lancaster romy g has all matching parts, but not on the rifle! I've replaced many with different things for a better fit and such and so now I have all sorts of different numbers and different countries represented on this thing. Polish, Romanian, e German, Bulgarian, Hungarian, American, and I love it. It's mine now. Although I read here that the carrier and bolt should be from the same country, I wouldn't sweat the different numbers. That's one of the beauties of aks and this forum compared with others; very little snobbery with these things. You can dremmel stuff, paint stuff, shim stuff, and find your groove, and they just get better.
